Basking Ridge residents awarded undergraduate and graduate degrees from Quinnipiac University

The following area residents graduated from Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Ct. during the 81st undergraduate commencement exercises on May 20:

• Erin Hodgson of Basking Ridge, bachelor of arts in sociology

• Logan Wida of Basking Ridge, bachelor of science in Management

Michael T. Rivers of Basking Ridge, received a Master of Occupational Therapy from Quinnipiac University during a commencement ceremony held May 13 at the TD Bank Sports Center.

Basking Ridge residents awarded degrees at University of Vermont's 209th commencement

Two Basking Ridege residents reportedly were among 2,552 students awarded a variety of bachelor's degrees during the University of Vermont's 209th commencement ceremonies on May 20 in Burlington, Vt.:

• Samantha L. Davitt of Basking Ridge received a bachelor of arts in film and television studies.

• David R. Verdi of Basking Ridge received a bachelor of arts in English.

Champlain College graduate from Basking Ridge

Caroline Coffin of Basking Ridge graduated May 5 from Champlain College in Burlington, Vt. Coffin received a BS degree in Early Childhood/Elementary Education with a possible specialization and/or minor.

Basking Ridge resident graduates with B.A. in psychology and music

Adam Michael Messineo, son of Andrea and Timothy Messineo of Basking Ridge graduated from Saint Michael's College in Colchester, Vt. with a bachelor of arts degree in psychology and music at the college's 105th commencement exercises held on the college campus on  May 14.

Commencement speaker was MTV media pioneer and humanitarian, Tom Freston, a member of the Saint Michael's graduate class of 1967.

Basking Ridge resident graduates Cum Laude with biology degree

Amanda Richelo, of Basking Ridge graduated from the University of New Hampshire during the commencement ceremony held Saturday, May 19 on the Durham, N.H. campus. She earned a BS degree in biology Cum Laude, with a GP

Students who received the honor Summa Cum Laude graduated with a GPA of 3.7 - 4.0: Students who received the honor of Magna Cum Laude graduated with a GPA of 3.50-3.69; and students who received the honor of Cum Laude graduated with a GPA of 3.2-3.49.
