Ridge Baseball Opens Season with Shutout Win
Devils get clutch hitting and strong pitching for first outing of 2012.
The baseball team opened the season traveling to Gill St. Bernard's Monday afternoon. A brilliantly sunny, even windy day, welcomed the new season and was the setting for a 3-0 victory for the Devils.
IN SHORT
Led by strong pitching from Greg Lauricella, Daniel Moulton and Dan Volpaccio, the Devils came to life in the fourth inning on a Lauricella RBI double and a Ross Lazicky single that scored Lauricella.

DEVIL OF THE GAME
Greg Lauricella - Lauricella pitched three scoreless innings, giving up one walk and one hit with two strikeouts. Lauricello had a big RBI double in the fourth inning to start the scoring and then scored a run.
