COACH'S TAKE
"Ridge is a very good team. They're faster, they're quicker, they're better shooters than us. We have to play close to perfect to compete with them and hope they miss some shots. That didn't happen tonight. We made it respectable towards the end. Hopefully our kids can learn from it with the state tournament coming, that the level of intensity gets picked up from the start. And they have to get a little bigger, stronger and better." - Bernards head coach Brad Greenman
"Nice way for the seniors to go out. We got out to a great start offensively and defensively. We let our guard down a little in the second period, but picked it back up and had a good second half. We are looking for a state tournament run next week. We were looking to play better and play hard tonight." - Ridge coach Brian Feath
UP NEXT - Bernards will play in the first round of the North 2, Group III NJSIAA tournament at Hanover Park on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
