A 19-point performance from Sal Vitello helped the Bridgewater-Raritan boys basketball team overcome a 10-point first quarter deficit on its way to stopping Ridge High, 54-39, on Thursday night in Bridgewater.
Bridgewater earned its third win comfortably, despite trailing 16-6 heading into the second quarter, as Vitello and Isiah Solomon helped rally the Panthers to a two-point lead heading into halftime. Solomon finished the game with 12 points and 10 rebounds.

Also contributing for the unbeaten Panther’s was Robbie Myers with seven points and eight rebounds, while Scott Bieda and Eric Murdock each scored five points. Bridgewater improved to 3-0 with the win.
Dylan Kerwin finished with 13 points for Ridge (1-2).
