Ridge Swim Teams Look For New Leaders

New season has challenges with loss of strong swimmers in last year's senior class.

As the weather gets cold, high school sports head indoors for the Ridge High School varsity teams. With the winter season getting underway, we will look at the teams who are just kicking off the season. Today, we look at the Ridge girls and boys swim teams.

OVERVIEW

The Ridge swim teams come into 2011-2 looking at a new crop of leaders after graduating some of their most competitive athletes. Last year, the boys team was 5-7 and 5th in the county championships. The girls team was 5-8 in 2010-11 and placed 6th in the county championships.
