The lone Bernards goal would come late in the game from Daniel Osika.

"It was a great game," Ridge coach Tim Mullin, Sr. said. "Bernards played Wednesday and had a big game with Hunterdon Central last night, it was hard on them. But you have to play the game. This is their first year in the league, this is pretty good for their first year."

"It was a blow out, but we have to get ready for Skylands and states," Zarabarra said. "A win like that gets everyone's confidence going. It is always good to beat Bernards, our cross-town rivals. We will see how Skylands goes and then states. The ultimate goal is to win states."
