Giant Secondary School Fair To Be At Far Hills Country Day

Far Hills Country Day School in Bernardsville on Sept. 20 will host public gathering of private high schools.

The public is invited to what is being described as the second largest fair on the east coast for private secondary schools, with the event scheduled for 4 to 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 20, at Far Hills Country Day School in Bernardsville.

More than 100 private high schools, from all over the U.S. with a few from Europe, are scheduled be at the fair with booths offering printed materials, admission information, and representatives with whom prospective students and their parents can speak, said Susan Carpenter, director of strategic marketing and communications at Far Hills, located off Route 202 south at the Bernardsville and Far Hills border.

Those representatives can answer questions, and help those who are interested learn about what each school is like, she said.

Just a few names are Deerfield, Hotckiss, Phillips Academy, Lawrenceville, and Hawaii Prep, Carpenter said. "It is really the only place parents can see this many schools in one place.
There is no other event like it and we encourage the community to join us!"
