In partnering with the Adult School, the Bernards school board and school officials, in cooperation with township resident Laura Begg, joined forces to present some what Begg said are some of the more popular programs at Ridge for this fall pilot.

This past spring, residents were invited to complete an interest survey indicating which courses they would like to have held locally.

"It all came together quite smoothly", Begg said. "Many residents had an interest in taking courses, but availability in the evenings was limited. We believe that we are presenting a well-rounded course schedule for the pilot. Our hope is that we will receive a lot of participation this fall, and that we might then expand the program for our residents going forward."

Those interested in taking a course are able to sign up beginning on August 24. Sign ups continue through the start of the program which is the first week in October. Additional brochures are available at the and Bernardsville Public Library, or by contacting the Adult School at 973-443-9222 or at tasinfo@theadultschool.org.
