Student Alcohol, Drug Survey Among Items for Monday School Bd. Meeting

The s agenda for a meetiing scheduled for 7 p.m. on Monday night at the includes a presentation by the Municipal Alliance Against Substance Abuse about anticipated "neighborhood coffees" next spring and an update on a drug and alcohol survey given to students.

Municipal Alliance Chairperson John Carpenter, Co-Chairperson Kathy Kelly and Bernards Township Health Officer Lucy A. Forgione will discuss the annual spring Neighborhood Coffees planned to again bring out parents to informally discuss issues involving their teens, according to the Bernards Township school website.

The municipal alliance officers also are expected to expand on the results of the American Alcohol and Drug Survey administered to middle and high school students.

Also on the agenda for Monday, Supervisor of Science and Technology Brian Heineman and Technology Manager Jim Rollo are scheduled to present an update on the district's technology plan.
