Video: Meet Bernards' Teachers of the Year

One teacher from each school received the 2010 NJ Governor's Teacher of the Year Award.

Each year the six different public schools in Bernards recognize one instructor as the recipient of the NJ Governor's Teacher of the Year award, which comes with recognition and a much coveted prime parking spot on the school's campus.

This year, Tracy Underhill (Cedar Hill School), Andrew Henthorn (Liberty Corner School), Michael Pepitone (Mount Prospect School), Megan Malone (Oak Street School), Barbara DeLorenzo (William Annin Middle School) and Margaret Mitchell (Ridge High School) were selected as the award winners.

On May 24, each of the teachers was presented with a plaque, reserved parking space sign and given a commendation by his or her principal, read by Board of Education President Susan Carlsson and distributed by Superintendent Valerie Goger.
