7th Annual BTO Lacrosse Classic

Somerset Hills Lacrosse Club is hosting its seventh annual charity “BTO Lacrosse Classic” for Bryan’s Dream Foundation on Friday, May 4, 2012 at Mountain Park in Bernards Township, New Jersey.  The 8th grade Somerset Hills Lacrosse Club boys team, with teams from the surrounding area, including Branchburg, Bridgewater, Chester/Mendham, Florham Park, The Hills, Hillsborough, and Ridge Youth Lacrosse will compete. In addition to great lacrosse action, the event will feature a silent auction, music, great food, a 50/50 raffle and a Speed Gun shoot out. Tournament begins at 4:00 pm.  Admission is free.

This is the longest running event for Bryan’s Dream Foundation and has raised more than $65,000 for the Foundation, which provides support and assistance to children and families affected by pediatric brain tumors. The Foundation provides services to benefit children in approximately twenty-five hospitals across the country including local hospitals such as Children’s Hospital of New York, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Cohen Children’s Medical Center and NYU and was established in memory of Bryan Opremcak, a Bernards Township 7th grader, who passed away from a brain tumor in 2006.
