Are You Faster than a Ridge Runner? 5K

Are you faster than a Ridge Runner?  Come out and join the running community of the Basking Ridge area in racing with some of the top high school runners in Somerset County! 

            The 5K race/1 mile walk/Kids Races will be held March 27, 2011, 9:00 AM at Mountain Park, Martinsville Rd. & Mountain Rd., Basking Ridge, NJ.  The USATF certified 5K course is a flat looped trail through the park.  Water stations and professional race timing will be provided, with splits given at the 1 & 2 mile marks. 

            The event is to benefit the Ridge High School Cross Country and Track & Field teams and is sponsored by the Ridge Runners Booster Club.  We are raising funds for needed equipment, including ellipticals, weights, and storage.  Anyone interested in being a sponsor for the event and having your company logo or name printed on the event T-shirt can contact us at the email address below. 

            Race registration fee is $20.00 and must be received by March 18, 2011 to receive   a long sleeve T-shirt and entry into our door prize giveaway.  Awards will be given by age group.  The registration form can be obtained at www.njridgerunners.com .  Late and race day registration fee is $25.00.  Email your questions to njridgerunners@gmail.com.
