The Bernards High and Ridge High School ice hockey game, with the teams scheduled to meet on Friday night to close the season, has been moved to Saturday, Feb. 16, because of the weather.
The game now is rescheduled for 8:30 p.m. on Feb. 16 at Bridgewater Sports Arena, 1425 Frontier Road in Bridgewater.
Bernards High (9-6-3) also is scheduled to face Newton at 6 p.m. on Saturday at the Skylands Arena for the NJ Ice Hockey League championship.
The Ridge High School ice hockey team's Tuesday night's 2-0 win over Arthur L. Johnson upped the team's season record to 15-2-4, as the team prepares for the final scheduled game of the regular season against next-door neighbors from Bernards High School.
Previously on Saturday, senior night for the Ridge ice hockey ended with a 4-3 win for Ridge over hometown rival The Pingry School at the Bridgewater Sports Arena.
The game on Saturday was preceded by the annual senior night ceremony honoring this year's senior hockey players and their parents, who were presented with a plaque and flowers on the ice.
The 2012-2013 senior players include captains Kyle Leddy, Joe Mandala and Matt Zarabara; and also Rob Fenton, Kyle Seidel, Dan Trapani, and Pat Zhou.
The team's season record stands at 14-2-4 following Friday's tie game against Hunterdon Central Regional High School in Flemington.
Tuesday's game against Arthur L. Johnson High School at Warinanco Ice Skating Rink in Elizabeth was the second to last game of the season.
After the Bernards game, the Ridge team then will head to the Skylands Tournament. State tournament seedings are due to come out next week and the team will begin state games Feb. 25, according to information from the team.
