Ridge Baseball Spring Club Baseball and T-Ball Registration Now Open

Evaluations scheduled for Jan. 12 and Jan. 19 at Ridge High School.

On-line registration for all Ridge Baseball Club's spring recreation T-Ball and baseball programs is now open for all players ages 5 through 12 online.

Regular spring season league play is open to residents of Bernard’s Township who will be at least five years of age, but who will not yet have reached 13 years of age, as of April 30, 2014.

Players who are eligible to play in the American or National Leagues must attend their respective evaluation session to help asses player skill level and aid in the team balancing and selection process.

American League evaluations

• When/Where? Old gym, Ridge High School, 268 S. Finley Ave., Basking Ridge 

• 8:30 a.m. to noon, on Sunday, Jan. 12

• Who Should Attend? All 12-year-olds and any 10- or 11-year-olds who want to be evaluated for possible draft into the American League. Any 10-year-old interested in evaluating for the American League must also attend the National League Evaluation. 

National League Evaluations 

• When/Where? Old gym, Ridge High School, 268 S. Finley Ave., Basking Ridge 

• 8:30 a.m. to noon on Sunday, Jan. 19

• Who Should Attend? Any 11-year-olds who did not attend the American League Evaluation, and any 10-year-old that is interested in playing in the National or American League. 

SPRING RECREATION T-BALL/BASEBALL REGISTRATION PROCESS: 

• Visit the new the www.ridgebaseballclub.com, and begin the registration process by clicking ‘REGISTER NOW’ or selecting Player Registration in the left list of options. 

• Second, choose the appropriate Tee Ball or Baseball registration program and follow the directions. All registration fees will be processed by Credit Card. 

• Upload or Mail copy of Birth Certificate for all new players. 

• Mail a Work Bond Check for $100 per family. Check will be returned or destroyed in September with the completion of a qualifying volunteer activity at any time during the season. 

• The fee for Baseball is $195 for the first player with a $35 discount for each additional family member, plus $5 Bernards Twp. Field Usage Fee.

• Parents are asked to be sure to ACCURATELY submit the child's birthdate. Any necessary league adjustments will be made after the registration process. Those with questions can email registration@ridgebaseballclub.com

• Don’t forget to indicate if you are interested in a coach or canager position for a Spring Recreation team when you are asked when you are filling out the registration form. 

Refund Policy

Up to Feb. 28, 2014, the refund is registration fee less $25 administration fee.

After March 1, 2014, the refund is registration fee less $100 administration fee.
