Hugh Morris scored career-high 20 points to lead Red Devils to 'impressive' win over Hunterdon Central.
The Ridge Red Devils traveled to Flemington to take on Hunterdon Central Tuesday evening. The No. 13 ranked Ridge team continued an undefeated winning season with a 67-50 victory.
Ridge scored the first basket of the evening and never trailed in their game Tuesday evening. The Devils were lead by senior Hugh Morris who lead all scorers with his career high 20 points.
"He had the game of his life!" said Ridge coach Brian Feath. "We always say if Hugh brings it, if Hugh plays well, we are a very, very good team. He was focused and brought some good energy, and his teammates did a nice job of finding him as well."

"It feels better to get the 16-0, that was what we were going for," Morris said. "Our goal is for all home games in the state tournament. I was sick for two weeks, I am finally 100 percent healthy."

"Every time we come up here they are always shooting well and playing well. Last year was another high scoring game. They look to get out in transition a lot and that was something we struggled with, us guards were kind of falling asleep. Once we took responsibility, shutting them down and making them play in the half-court, we stunted them and that helped us a lot. It feels good going into the counties and states right now." - Eric Klacik
"We knew how tough it was going to be. Central's a very good team with a bunch of wins. That is a balanced team, they have shooters, they have bigs, they're tough. To come into their gym and win by 17, that's pretty impressive on our part." — Feath
