In Short

Ridge relinquished a 7-4 7th inning lead and couldn’t get out of a bases loaded jam in the 8th before falling to Watchung Hills. Ridge played excellent defense until a pair of miscues in the eighth inning that could have helped them get out of the inning. The Red Devils cashed in most of their offensive chances early in the game, scoring a run in every inning in which a runner got on via a hit or walk.

Other key performances – Junior second baseman Brett Matzen went 2 for 4 with a home run and two runs scored.  Senior third baseman Andrew Graziano also went 2 for 4 and had a homer.  Senior centerfielder Dan Curcio scored both times he reached base.
