The county tournament semifinal and final matches were played at Hillsborough High School, and the Ridge players met up with Bridgewater-Raritan as their first opponent.

Although Ridge had easy wins against Bridgewater during the season, the Bridgewater team came out fighting and took early leads in both sets of the matches.

Ridge pulled together and came back to win the first set 25-23 and then fought its way back from an 8-point deficit in the second set to win 26-24. That win secured the Ridge girls a spot in the finals against foe Watchung Hills.

After losing one match to Watchung during conference season play, the Ridge team was ready to be avenged. The lady Red Devils came out swinging, blocking, digging, and serving.
