Squad traveled to Orlando, Fla. for first-ever competition at national level.

The Ridge Youth Sports JV Competition Cheer Squad recently traveled to Orlando Florida to compete at the National High School and Youth Recreational Championships, and ended up placing fifth overall in the nation.

The squad had placed first at a regional competition earlier in the season which earned them a bid to compete at Nationals. This is the first time in Ridge Youth Sports history that a cheerleading squad has competed at the national level.

The cheerleaders made Basking Ridge proud by cheering their way through the first round of competition and advancing to finals. The team's standing gained them a fifth place overall finish in the nation.
