The subject will be discussed as part of the board's facilities committee, Schools Superintendent Nick Markarian said on Wednesday.

The school's business administrator, Rod McLaughlin, said the school district already has contacted the county for input on a plan for re-timing a light at the school entrance at the intersection of Lake Avenue and South Finley Avenue.

The possibility of realigning the entire intersection also was explored in a report in late June.

One of the main options being explored is whether buses could be directed to a left-turn loop by the school's new gym to remove buses from the front of the school.

Other options might require more of a funding investment or cooperation from Bernards Township or the county, according to the report.

Thursday's agenda also includes a vote to certify the exact number of Ridge graduates in 2012.
