An example of that outreach is a class for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), now open for registration, at The Center for Contemporary Art location at Burnt Mills Road in Bedminster. Thanks to funding from Janssen Pharmaceuticals, Inc., the CCA is able to offer this class free of charge to participants for a second year. The benefit also raised money for educational programming, according to the CCA.
The class is offered for children ages 6 to 9, and takes place on five Wednesdays from 4 to 5 p.m. beginning on May 30, according to information from the CCA. Space is limited to eight students and available on a first-come first-served basis. Please contact The Center at 908-234-2345 for more information or register online.
