St. Mark's Episcopal Church to Honor Fire, EMS Volunteers on Sunday

All in community are welcome.

St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Basking Ridge will take time out of this Sunday's 10 a.m. service to offer thanks for the volunteer firefighters and Emergency Medical Services personnel, "who give so much of themselves to serve our community."

The church issued an invitation to the Basking Ridge Fire Co. and First Aid Squad but added, "All are welcome to attend."

The service also will honor Liberty Corner Fire Co. and First Aid Squad volunteers, Fr. Rick Morley of the church added on Friday morning.

The church's service of Thanksgiving and Blessing at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church will be followed by a reception, according to information from the BRFCO.

No religious affiliation is required, according to the invitation. The service is to pray for and honor members of the Basking Ridge Fire Co. No. 1, including EMS, Liberty Corner Fire Co. 1, and the Liberty Corner First Aid Squad, along with those in the community. Family members of volunteers are also welcome, according to the invitation.
