It apparently started with a lightning strike that damaged the computerized system for the Ridge High School cafeteria, leading to miscalculated charges for students online lunch accounts. But Schools Superintendent Nick Markarian said on Monday night that the problem apparently has been fixed, and account balances now are correct.

Oak Street School Loads Up Frozen Turkeys and Other Donations for County Food Bank

The children and community at Basking Ridge's Oak Street Elementary School loaded up dozens of bags of non-perishable items and also collected almost four dozen frozen turkeys that were picked up this week by a van from the Food Bank Network of Somerset County.
