Trilogy's 'Wizard of Oz' at Bernards Township Library on Saturday

Final performances coming up in Basking Ridge.


"Dorothy and the Wizard of Oz," written by Steve and Kathy Hotchner, a participation play, has been presented by Trilogy Repertory Co. at local libraries for the next three weekends, and finally comes to its hometown library in Basking Ridge this Saturday.

The free performance by the Basking Ridge-based theater company, already held in Peapack-Gladstone, Warren and Bernardsville libraries, will be shown three times at the Bernards Township Library, 32 S. Maple Ave., Basking Ridge.

The three presentations are for 10:30 a.m. 1 and 2:30 p.m. Free tickets are available in the childrens' library. The play is recommended for ages four to 10, and audience participation is encouraged.

The written to involve the audience directly in the events occurring on stage, according to Trilogy. Eleanor Klinger of Basking Ridge is producing, and Jaye Barre of Basking Ridge is directing this production for Trilogy, according to earlier information.

The featured players in the production will include Jackie Adams, Jacques Delli Paolli, Juliana Klinger, Mariella Klinger, Emma Peterson, Luci Terenin and Christian Winans.
