Tuesday snow leaves...warmer weather ahead!

A happy Tuesday morning to everyone! First up on today’s agenda is the exiting snow that hit the area overnight. We ended up with 1-2” around the area, with more actually along the Monmouth and Ocean county areas. Heavier snow continues back into PA and out on Long Island. Snow showers are possible this morning and afternoon, but I expect light accumulations. Be careful out there as back roads are still snow covered.

The rest of the week is as follows:

Today – Snow showers, highs in the upper 30’s

Tonight – Partly cloudy, lows in the 20’s

Tomorrow – Mostly cloudy, highs in the lower 40’s

Thursday – Mostly sunny, highs in the mid 40’s

Friday – showers and t-storms possible, highs in the mid 50’s

I have attached the National Weather Service, Storm Prediction Center’s Day-4 (Friday) outlook, showing our southern region as a possible location for severe weather to develop. Will advise as we get closer.

Stay safe!
