Very Cold Air, Leads To Mild Weekend

Good morning all! Back to winter, as mother nature slaps us with extremely cold temps yet again today. However, they are short lived as the weekend looks to be back into the 50's!

March never ceases to amaze in the weather world, with very prominent extremes. Historically, we have seen blizzards and heat waves very close to each other this month. I will be posting later about the storm of the century that occurred today back in 1993. 

We are watching a possible coastal system that may affect the area on Monday. Cold air will be in place so any moisture that may arrive to the area could fall as snow. It is still a ways away so nothing definite yet but something to keep an eye on. 

And lastly, a very happy birthday to my mother today!
