Fresh and green is the theme of this new restaurant in the Highland Village Shopping Center. Opened in 2008, the three owners have set out to be the first truly "green" restaurant in New Jersey. The lemon-lime decor with bamboo flooring was created using as many recycled and local items as the owners could find. The menu is composed with locally-grown products wherever possible. There are always new seasonal specials and a blue plate special (after 4pm) that changes daily. With lots of windows and light, the ambiance is fresh as the food.

when they clean their floors, door mats etc they dump the dirty water out the back door - now that is real ENVIRO friendly - take a look the next time you are in the area!!!
The food is wonderful and most definately FRESH.......very creative chef. The atmosphere is warm and inviting; a perfect place to meet up with friends. Patti Bennett
Everything I have had here has been good. The frozen yogurt is delicious, too : ) Very friendly staff. You can sign up online to receive their daily menu, and it always has a great quote of the day!
(I wonder what Joe would have them do with their dirty water?)
