Mount Prospect Elementary School has firmly established itself as another of Bernards highly successful schools.

Testing on the New Jersey Assessment of Skills and Knowledge test shows that Mount Prospect students have greatly outperformed the average New Jersey school. From 2oo5-08, students in third and fourth grade at Mount Prospect never scored lower than a 94% average on the literacy, math or science ASK tests. State averages over that time are 83% and 87%.

Mount Prospect students have consistently scored well in all subject areas, including 98% in math for fifth graders in 2oo8 (state average: 76%).
