We met Chef Ygnacio and hired him for a Valentine dinner in our home. It was amazing. We had a wonderful 5 course meal. When we finished desert, I turned around and my kitchen was sparkling. Months later I had to have some surgery. We called Chef Ygnacio and he prepared wonderful meals, soups etc. Very professional. We would highly recommend him.

Over the summer, my family and I had the pleasure of having Ygnacio
Alena, a private chef, come to our home and cook for us on numerous
occasions. To say the food was great, would be an understatement. Not
only were the meals delicious, he was extremely professional and
willing to make any meal of your choice! Our menus included Roasted
Herb Chicken, Garlic Shrimp, New York Strip Steak and Filet Mignon. We
had a variety of salads along with mouth-watering side dishes including
Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Roasted Potatoes, Steamed Asparagus and
Couscous. To top off each meal, Ygnacio would surprise us with a
homemade dessert of his own creation that was to die for. Each dish was presented with an explanation of what exactly we were eating. Besides our private dinners, Ygnacio also catered an outdoor party for us which included over 50 people! Steamed Clams, Lobster Tails, Chicken and Ribs were some of the highlights! Rave reviews about the party(always mentioning the food) are still coming in! If you are ever in need of a personal chef, Ygnacio Alena is your man!!

Private Chef Now's Ygnacio was hired to come in to my home on a weekend, and prepare a whole week's lunches/dinners for my family of four. Since I've never done this before, one of the things that struck me right off the bat and pretty much through out the entire exercise, is Ygnacio's proficiency in the kitchen. Never seen this before. The guy treats it like a project from start to end. He lays out his tools, and the food to prepare, he cooks it, rather quickly, I have to say, and left my kitchen, cleaner than if my wife were to clean it. Very professional. Now on to the food....Ygnacio sat down with me and my wife, and pretty much asked a whole bunch of questions, our preferences to food, and since we have children, and they are pretty picky, so we spent a good hour discussing prep with Ygnacio. At the end, we came up with 5 different protein/starch/vegetable combinations which ranged from salmon and risotto, to breaded tilapia, and sea scallops (we eat a lot of fish). In the end we were very satisified with the food, it was plentiful and very flavorful, and our kids loved the truffle risotto and dill infused mashed potatoes Ygnacio prepared for them. If I only have one "snafu" in this whole experience, is that I forgot to ask the chef for the recipes...I definitely recommend Ygnacio.

All I can say is once you taste the specialties that Chef Iggy has to offer, the detail that goes into all he does; from as small party buffet to elaborate entertaining, this is where you go to get that done. I wanted to have some of my wife's friends over for a baby shower/dinner. As I was searching for a nearby restaurant, I found Private Chef Now on google and tried them out instead. It turned out to be one of the best decisions I ever made. We had a 5 star meal for over a dozen people and it was a lot cheaper than feeding that many people at any worthwhile restaurant. Best duck I've ever had and they even showed me how to make some killer sangria. I'll definitely try them again.

We hired Chef Alena for Thanksgiving since the day fell on Grandma's birthday and didn't want her in the kitchen at all. The food was phenomenal! It was excellently flavored and low sodium (per dietary request). The corn bread stuffing and mashed potatoes went on for days without losing any flavor. I think we ate it with breakfast, lunch and dinner! The turkey was perfect and better than Grandma's (shh!) We would definitely hire him again. Excellent price for all the food we received, which was ready when we asked it to be. Love good customer service! Now it's time to get my hubby some cooking lessons!
