Somerset Hills Montessori School emphasizes an individualized, noncompetitive learning environment for the 70 plus children enrolled. The school offers classes for children from 18 months to 7 years old, as well as day trips and educational outings throughout the year.

The Montessori curriculum focuses on six key areas: practical life skills, sensory stimulation, mathematics, writing and reading, geography and language. Children are treated as unique learners, and are allowed to grow at their own pace with an emphasis on developing their strengths.
