Trattoria Bolu opened about a year ago at 100 Marketplace. The interior is softly lit and diners can view the kitchen and the natural open flame fire used for making the pizzas. Large platters of colorful antipasti line the bar, inviting diners to sample the various selections, which vary daily. In addition to the eclectic pizza offerings ("the healthiest pizza in the world"), there is a full menu of Italian and Mediterranian-style entrees, salads, paninis and subs. We had our wedding rehearsal party at Bolu a few years ago. They were very accommodating and provided us a large sample of their menu so I've tasted pretty much everything there. Personally, I am more of a burgers, fries, pizzas type of guy, but their food is really very good. Not the cheapest but also not as expensive as some of the other restaurants in town. Our wedding party raved about the food, the ambiance, and the wait staff. My wife and I made it a tradition for us to go there every year the night before our anniversary.
