A&P Closing in Bedminster in February

Basking Ridge store is 'definitely' staying open.

The A&P supermarket, a longtime tenant at its location off Route 206 in Bedminster, is due to close on Feb. 23, as the Somerset Hills Shopping Center makes plans for an update and possible expansion. The store was covered on Friday with signs saying that merchandise within was being discounted by between 10 to 50 percent, with all sales final. A&P 'definitely' remaining open in Basking Ridge However, the larger, more modernized A&P supermarket at Dewy Meadow Village off King George Road in Basking Ridge is "definitely" remaining open, said Jules Leopold, manager at that store. Is the store still scheduled to close on the 23rd? Just curious what the closing sales are like and if there is even any non-perishable food left.   more ›
