Contested School Board Race in Bernards

Four candidates for three seats in Bernards, no contest in Somerset Hills and Bedminster school district.

This November's school board election in Bernards Township is now officially a contested race following Tuesday's filing deadline, with four candidates seeking three three-year terms. Those who filed, according to the Somerset County clerk's office, include former school board member Bernards Township Bev Darvin Cwerner, 111 Elmwood Ct., Basking Ridge; newcomer Louis J. D’Autorio, 490 B So. Maple Ave., Basking Ridge; incumbent Robin McKeon, 48 Bullion Road, Basking Ridge; and incumbent Audrey Cohen Sherwyn, Basking Ridge.
