Unconscious 63-Year-Old Revived After Route 202 Crash

Traffic delays reported in Bernardsville, Bernards Township after driver smashed into telephone pole, police said.

A 63-year-old man was resuscitated on the scene of an early-morning Route 202 crash in Bernardsville Friday where police said he was found without a pulse and not-breathing inside his smashed pickup truck. Eugene Henry, of Wallkill, N.Y., was transported to Morristown Medical Center by the Bernardsville First Aid Squad after officers administered CPR and used a cardiac defibrillator to revive him, according to Police Chief Kevin Valentine. Henry was found unconscious in the driver's seat of the heavily damaged 2011 Chevrolet pickup truck after Valentine said he apparently smashed into a telephone pole in front of the Somerset Hills Bank near North Finley just after 6 a.m. No other vehicles were involved in the crash.  Bernardsville Police …

Ambulance, Car Collide by Bernardsville Train Station

Multiple injuries when car reportedly turns in front of ambulance.

A Bernardsville ambulance reportedly struck a car turning into the Bernardsville train station on Monday afternoon when the car turned in front of the emergency vehicle, bringing more ambulances from the nearby fire and rescue squad building and also from Basking Ridge, said Bernardsville Police Chief Kevin Valentine. The crash was reported at 3:05 p.m. on Monday, and resulted in the two people in the car being transported to Morristown Medical Center, according to the accident report, which had yet to be completed later on Monday afternoon. Driver Killed in Martinsville Road Head-On Crash

Two cars involved in crash between Mountain Road and The Pingry School.

One driver was killed Wednesday night in a two-car crash that closed Martinsville Road for hours Wednesday between Mountain Road and The Pingry School. Liberty Corner Fire Chief Marc Friedman later said the driver was a man. Police were reported to still be at the scene at about 10:30 p.m., with the investigation and road closure expected to continue later into the night. According to the the 1st Responder Broadcast News, the Liberty Corner Fire Co. was dispatched the 8:50 p.m. on Wednesday night to the motor vehicle accident scene near Pingry. Car Crashes Into Tree on Mt. Airy Road, Police Say

Driver was taken to Morristown Medical Center for injuries.

A woman veered off Mount Airy Road near Lyons Road on Friday, crashing into a tree, according to Bernards Township Police.  The vehicle was traveling southbound when the accident occurred at about 5:13 p.m., police said.  Police said the driver was transported to Morristown Medical Center by Liberty Corner EMS for injuries not considered serious. The crash remains under investigation, according to police.

Major Crash Causes Backups on I-78

Police say Medevac helicopter called to the scene early Wednesday morning.

State Police at Perryville barracks on Wednesday morning released preliminary information on a one-vehicle accident on Interstate 78 westbound in Bedminster Township that resulted in early-morning backups. State police said the crash occurred around 5:45 a.m. on milepost 29.6 along the highway. No further information was released on the condition of the vehicle's occupant or occupants. The accident remains under investigation, according to police. Further information is expected to be released later on Wednesday. Traffic was flowing freely as of shortly after 9 a.m., following previous backups, state police said.
