New Jersey Monthly publishes annual list, featuring 839 doctors selected by their peers.
Three Basking Ridge doctors were included on New Jersey Monthly's 2012 list of "New Jersey's Top Doctors." The magazine polled 22,780 New Jersey doctors and asked them who they considered the state's best. Basking Ridge doctors included on the list of 839 are:

Katie Meyler of Bernardsville was honored at New Jersey Monthly’s Seeds of Hope luncheon on on September 12 at The Crystal Plaza in Livingston. The event was sponsored by PNC Wealth Management and The Crystal Plaza. Meyler, who grew up in the Somerset Hills with a single mother, had earlier told Patch that she considered herself poor — until her work helping others showed her that many others around the world struggle to survive. She has dedicated herself to assisting others across the world. Through her More than Me foundation, Meyler has created an international volunteer team that helps impoverished girls in Liberia attain an education. Bernards Township, Bernardsville and Peapack-Gladstone in top 10 of New Jersey Monthly's just-released 2011 list of the top 20 Best Places to Live in N.J.
The Somerset Hills towns swept New Jersey Monthly's 2011 list of Best Places to Live in the state, with Bernards Township, Bernardsville and Peapack-Gladstone placing in the top 10 of a survey of all of the state's 566 municipalities. ADDED: "I certainly am not surprised," said Mayor John Malay. "We work very hard to make Bernards a wonderful place to live." But Malay said that he is not handing all the credit to government and officials. He said many, many volunteers staff not only local committees, but also sports activities and contribute to other aspects of life in the township.
