Basking Ridge Over-40 Bombers Win Championship
Bombers defeat "PT Joes."
The Bombers won the championship of this fall's Basking Ridge Over-40 Men's Slowpitch Softball League by routing defending champion "PT Joes" 28-14 in November. The Bombers swept their way through the playoffs, blanking league powerhouse "The Board" 10-0 in the semi-final game to reach the finals. Participating team members included Tom Ardiff, Scott Oberman, Greg Fiorot, Dave Restaino, Bruce Ficken, Ed Schon, Marc Pine, Barry Fields, Kevin Kingree, David Becker, Mike Rosenthal, Frank Calabrese, Paul Asmar, Mike Pfennig, Steve Rickard and Stan Wilson.
