A Basking Ridge pilot remained in the intensive care unit of a hospital Tuesday after crashing his glider during take-off at the Van Sant Airport in Tinicum Township, Pa., according to NJ.com. Seventy-year-old Eldon Vosseller was flying a New Jersey Civil Air Patrol glider when he crashed on the grassy runway around noon. According to The Morning Call, Vosseller was being cared for at St. Luke's University Hospital-Fountain Hill.

Both occupants of a twin-engine plane that crashed while attempting to land Thursday morning at Hillsborough's Central Jersey Regional Airport suffered non-life-threatening injuries, police said. Alfonso Meghnagi, 44, of Princeton, and Stuart Rosenberg, 44, of South Orange, were on board the 1980 Beechwood twin engine aircraft that overturned while attempting to land at about 11:30 a.m., Hillsborough Police said. The plane struck a metal fence and a parked trailer located in the northwest area of the airport, police said. When officers arrived, the two occupants were out of the plane and receiving assistance from bystanders, police said. A multi-engine aircraft crashed late Thursday morning, landing short of the runway at Hillsborough's Central Jersey Airport and sending both passengers to the hospital, a spokesperson from the Federal Aviation Administration said. UPDATE: Both occupants suffered non-life-threatening injuries in crash. Arlene Salac, a spokesperson for the FAA in New York, confirmed that State Police reported to the administration that the aircraft landed short of runway 25. She also said that both passengers were taken to area hospitals with unknown injuries. Salac said the plane was manufactured by Beech and its model number is 76. Dr. Emil Bisaccia was remembered Monday morning at his funeral at St. James Church as a true "renaissance man" whose personal and professional impact on family, friends, patients, fellow medical professionals and his students was both profound and far-reaching. The family, friends and colleagues of Dr. Emil Bisaccia, the Basking Ridge dermatologist and cosmetic surgeon who died in a single-engine plane crash a week ago, are expected on Monday at a funeral service scheduled for 11 a.m. at St. James R.C. Church in Basking Ridge. Visiting hours had been scheduled on Sunday. Monday's service at St. James will be followed by interment at Somerset Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum in Basking Ridge, according to Gallaway and Crane Funeral Home, which is handling funeral arrangements. The deaths of the Buckalew family and Rakesh Chawla resonated Wednesday from the Passaic River Valley in New Jersey to the Shenandoah Valley in Virginia. The Buckalews–Jeffrey, 45, his wife Corinne, 45, their children, Jackson, 9, and Meriwether, 6, and their family dog–and Chawla died Tuesday when the plane piloted by Jeffrey Buckalew crashed into the median of Route 287 in Morris Township.
