Ridge, Bernards Skiers Back at State Finals on Tuesday
First round held Monday at Hidden Valley, second and final day scheduled for Tuesday at Mount Peter Ski Are in New York.
Girls and boys varsity ski teams for Ridge High School, and the girls varsity team for Bernards High School raced on Monday in the first day of the two-day state finals with representatives from eight high schools around New Jersey, according to information from the Ridge team. A giant slalom race on the first day of the two-day event was held on Monday afternoon at Hidden Valley Ski area in Vernon. The second day is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. with slalom races at Mount Peter Ski Area in Warwick, N.Y., according to information from the Ridge ski team.
