$2.6K in Heroin Seized in Bridgewater Bust

Finderne Avenue man charged with possession with intent to distribute.

A Bridgewater man was found to be in possession of $2,600 worth of heroin and was charged with, among other things, possession with the intent to distribute, according to Somerset County Prosecutor Geoffrey D. Soriano. Ian Nunez, 31, of Finderne Avenue, was arrested after detectives witnessed him pick up a quantity of the drug in Newark and return it to his home on Wednesday, Soriano said. Detectives from the prosecutor's organized crime and narcotics task force had received information that Nunez would be traveling to Newark to pick up the heroin, Soriano said. Did the Somerset Prosecutors office turn over the address of the scum in Newark to the proper authorities there? The heroin problem is getting really bad in Bridgewater. Pa. Men Allegedly Found With 11 Ounces of Cocaine

The following arrest information was supplied by the Somerset County Prosecutor's Office. It does not indicate a conviction.

Two Pennsylvania men were allegedly found with nearly $9,000 worth of cocaine following a motor vehicle stop on Martinsville Road Thursday night, Somerset County Prosecutor Geoffrey D. Soriano and Bernards Township Police Chief Brian Bobowicz announced on Monday. Amilto Hernandez, 43, and Hector J. Quiles, 26, both of Reading, Pa., were charged with first-degree possession of a controlled dangerous substance (cocaine) with the intent to distribute and second-degree conspiracy to distribute a controlled dangerous substance. The cocaine allegedly seized has a street value of about $8,800, authorities said in a statement.
