Morristown's native son and pianist extraordinaire, "The Bishop of Jazz" has performed at First Night Morris, Morris County's annual alcohol-free end of the year celebration in Morristown since its second year. 'Snooki & JWoww' Opt Out of Morristown

Production company declined to say whether concerns raised by the community were a factor.

On second thought, nevermind. With a week to go before the expected start of filming in Morristown of the "Snooki & JWoww" Jersey Shore spin-off series, the town was informed Thursday that there has been a change of plans. "Today, 495 Productions decided not to film in Morristown and focus on other areas," Mayor Tim Dougherty wrote in statement released Thursday. "We want to thank the production company for engaging in several calls with my administration and being open to discussing the possibility of certain conditions." Snooki and JWoww To Film Show in Morristown

Two reality show starts due to bring 'Jersey Shore' spinoff series north for filming starting Aug. 9.

The Jersey Shore is coming to Morristown to finally film in North Jersey. No, the Atlantic Ocean is still due East. The production company, 495 Productions, for the MTV-aired Jersey Shore spinoff series "Snooki & JWoww"—featuring Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi and Jenni "JWoww" Farley—has advised the town they will be filming starting next month in Morristown for the series' second season. Filming is expected to begin Aug. 9 and run through Oct. 14, according to Jordan Nefouse, of 495 Productions.
