It looks like Running Late expects to go on around 7:15 p.m. and the idea is to go for food afterward at 54 Main Bar and Grille, which is donating 15% of profits that night to Relay For Life. You may be what the Census Bureau considers a "mega-commuter" (at least 90 minutes and 50 miles to get to work) which is what the WNYC story focused on: http://www.wnyc.org/articles/wnyc-news/2013/mar/05/mega-commuters-take-manhattan/
