It is listed as owned by a different company than the Promenade on the township records, although the two companies could be connected.

ReplyThe Township Committee members gave a positive assessment to the plan. There wasn't any discussion of truck weight limits on the road, but I doubt any vendors would need to bring even a 4-ton truckload to a stand.
We'll find out how the other farmers feel--some may choose to participate. -
On the article Two Public Hearings on School Budgets This Week

ReplyThanks, Heather—all of the school districts in Somerset County have public hearings on the same night. It's certainly more of a problem for residents here than in K-12 districts, but I've never seen this happen before. There is a deadline for the hearings set by the state (which is Thursday), but I'm note sure why Wednesday couldn't have been picked.

ReplyI'll check to see if it's possible to determine--zoning violations aren't like traffic tickets, with defined fines. The township code notes violations in industrial zones are punishable by "revocation of any approval, permit or certificate theretofore granted."

ReplyAnd how does your commute time compare to the map's figures? The intention of the article is to create a dialogue on the commuting times, regardless of where you are commuting to ( I'll correct the offending headline).

ReplyIf I understand Mr. Stys correctly, the tax rate is determined by the percentage each of the towns' assessments represent of the total. Since Warren saw more increase in property values than Watchung or Long Hill, its percentage of the total rose, meaning a larger increase. ReplyThe buy back is not being done in Hillsborough-- the Somerset County Prosecutor's Office has organized it and set four locations, Somerset, Somerville, North Plainfield and Bernards.

That doesn't answer why Dunellen HS is no. 47 in New Jersey, despite lower scores in all of the categories, though. It is a shame-- and maybe a sham!
