Kristina Lloyd loves to paint with vibrant and iridescent colors, photograph bold graphic forms and use whimsical themes with extraordinary details. Her abstract landscape paintings capture the peaceful and majestic moments she experiences with nature; her works of photography examine the interplay between beauty, light and texture; when creating beaded jewelry she uses semi-precious gemstones as a palette for her artistically inspired wearable art. Kristina is a Trustee and the Visual Arts Coordinator at Farmstead Arts, a non-profit center
for the fine, performing and practical arts. She is a member and former co-leader of Myhelan Artists’ Network (MAN), an art group that hosts monthly supportive meetings and participates in group shows. She is also a member of ARTsee; host of an annual artists’ open studio tour in Basking Ridge and Bernardsville. Kristina has won awards and exhibited her artwork in juried, solo and group shows in New Jersey and Washington, DC. She earned a BFA from the Corcoran College of Art + Design in Washington, DC.
