Most of Bernards Township and county roads are snow covered and slippery as of late morning, even though plowing and salting on those roads has continued throughout the morning, reports Bernards Police Lt. Ed Reese.

Reese and Lt. Michael Voorhees said a number of vehicle accidents have been in the township, although none are considered serious.

Voorhees said about three accidents had been reported, and roads were still bad at about 11 a.m.

Reese said conditions had been improving on some of the main roads after about 10 a.m.
