Basking Ridge Patch

Ridge High School buses were rerouted as of the morning of Feb. 1 2012 to the rear of the Cedar Hill Elementary School, where there is a paved walkway leading to the back of the high school. Residents of the nearby Homestead Village neighborhood have been protesting since. The latest proposal is to install a two-way driveway by the Bernards Health department to divert some traffic directly to the rear parking lots.

Ridge baseball's Liam McArthur (32) steals and slides safely into 2nd base. McArthur's infield hit, lobbed from base at the very start of the game, helped get the Red Devils on the right path toward a 10-6 victory over Warren Hills that clinched the Skylands Conference championship — and on Senior Night, too. Meanwhile, players in the Ridge Baseball Club were invited to the annual game at TD Bank Park in Bridgewater.
