Girl Scouts Make and Sew Dolls for Hospital

Kate Jones, Devon McKeon, Marlo Smith, and Sydney Vollmar, members of Cadette Girl Scout Troop 1120, are working towards their Silver Award. They are from the Girl Scouts Heart of New Jersey, and to earn this award, they have been making and sewing dolls for the children in the emergency room at the Goryeb Children’s Hospital. The patients are given the showing dolls before and during treatments so that doctors and nurses can demonstrate procedures on the dolls, giving children a better understanding of what will be going on.
