Millington Baptist Church Invites Ladies to Tea on May 3

How are you celebrating this Mothers Day?

In Olde English society, ladies would gather for tea and share stories, opinions, and news within their communities. The focus was on making deep, loyal and caring connections with other women in the community, finding common ground and helping each other to succeed.

In Genesis, we read God created females for companionship & relationship. (Genesis 2:18) Webster dictionary describes this as one who is closely connected with something similar; to accompany, help, and partner. Ever feel like you need someone to talk to who will understand you and let you be who you are?

Mothers, daughters, aunts, grandmothers, best friends - women play an important role in each other's lives. From nursery to nursing homes, ladies of ALL ages are invited to join us for a tea on Saturday, May 3  11am-1pm. We will spend time learning, laughing and growing with one another in what it means to be a girl/women in today's culture. Activities will include crafts, photo booth, mother/daughter game, and more!

Please RSVP no later than April 28 to womensministry@millingtonbaptist.org so we can plan accordingly for food.  Questions? Contact jroth@millingtonbaptist.org
