2 Videos from Charter Day "Battle of the Bands"

The Runners reportedly won first place among eight bands to perform at Charter Day.

The Basking Ridge Patch is presenting videos of two of the bands. Picture Perfect, performing its "Words To Say," reportedly won third place, said Josh Claps, one of the members of the band.

The Runners, also shown on video, reportedly won first place, and Ambience won second place before a panel of three judges.

To compete,  the bands must have at least one Bernards Township resident is either a high school or middle school student, said Jennifer Gander, director of the township Department of Parks and Recreation.

The first place band wins $150, she said. The first, second and third place bands win studio time with SDC Studios, sponsor of the Battle of the Bands, Gander said.
