New Year's Dog Walk Forges Friendships, Fitness

We all want to get in shape and make new friends for the New Year and the annual Dog Walk at Lord Stirling is a great way to do both.

The Friends of Lord Stirling Stable will host its annual New Year’s  Day “Meet New Friends” Dog Walk on the afternoon of Tuesday, Jan. 1, as a chance to walk off some of that holiday cheer and give your best canine friend a chance to socialize, too.

Check in time for the special event will be between 1 to 1:30 p.m., with the hour-long walk beginning at 1:30 p.m.

The Dog Walk takes place along the equestrian trails of the Somerset County Park Commission's Lord Stirling Stable at 256 S. Maple Ave. in Basking Ridge.

The New Year’s Dog Walk will provide people and pets an opportunity to take their first steps toward getting in better shape for the New Year by walking on a tour along the picturesque trails walk at Lord Stirling Stable. It's also a chance to the year off right with old friends, new friends, and your best friends!
