Narcotics Investigation In Bernards Township Results In Seven Arrests

Seven arrests are the result of a narcotics investigation lead by the Somerset County Prosecutors Office and Bernards Township Police Department. 

Justin Kaczmarczyk, 18, of Penns Way, Bernards Township,
Dana Carrone, 24, of Woodedge Road, Lebanon, Taylor MacCallum,
18, of Leva Drive, Morristown, Kelsey Alden, 19, of Granville Way,
Bernards Township, Tyler Ord, 19, Louis Ord, 24, and Kristen Ord,  47, all of Valley Road, Bernards Township were apprehended on April 28. 

Prosecutor Soriano states that on April 28, 2014, detectives assigned to
the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office Organized Crime and Narcotics Task
Force along with members of the Bernards Township Police Department set up
surveillance of the Ord residence located on Valley Road.

At approximately 10:25 a.m. the surveillance team observed defendant Alden arriving at the residence while operating a white Toyota 4Runner. After exiting her vehicle she entered the residence. After a brief visit she left the residence and re-entered her vehicle.

 A motor vehicle stop of defendant Alden’s vehicle was conducted while she was
leaving the area on Valley Road. The defendant gave detectives voluntary consent to search her SUV and person. She was found to be in possession of marijuana, under 50 grams. Defendant Alden was placed under arrest without incident.

Subsequently, Task Force detectives executed a previously obtained 
Superior Court Search Warrant for the Ord residence. Defendants Kaczmarczyk, 
Carrone, MacCallum and Tyler Ord were located inside the residence and detained without incident.

Warren Township K-9 Officer Bryan Horst responded to the scene with his K-9 “Onyx” and assisted in the search of the residence. As a result of the dog giving positive indications for CDS in several locations inside the residence, detectives seized approximately 19 grams of cocaine, thirty-one bags of marijuana (under 50 grams) and drug paraphernalia (smoking devices) that belonged to defendant Kaczmarczyk.

Defendant Carrone voluntarily gave detectives consent to search her person and her purse resulting in the seizure of one gram of cocaine and one fold containing heroin. Defendant Tyler Ord was found to be in possession of Drug Paraphernalia (smoking device).

Defendant MacCallum gave detectives voluntary consent to search his vehicle, a green Honda Accordresulting in the seizure of drug paraphernalia (smoking device). 

While detectives were executing the warrant, defendants Louis Ord and 
Kristen Ord arrived at the house. Through further investigation both were
subsequently arrested after detectives discovered under 50 grams of marijuana 
and drug paraphernalia (smoking device and baggies) in defendant Louis Ord’s 
bedroom room and drug paraphernalia (smoking device and grinder) in defendant Kristen Ord’s bedroom. 

The estimated street value of the cocaine seized is approximately $1,900.00.

Justin Kaczmarczk was charged with Possession of CDS (Cocaine) with 
Intent to Distribute, 2nd Possession of Marijuana, under 50 grams, a Disorderly Persons Offense and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a Disorderly Persons Offense. Dana Carrone was charged with Possession of CDS (Cocaine), 3rd
CDS (Heroin), 3rd Drug Paraphernalia, a Disorderly Persons Offense. Kelsey Alden was charged with Possession of Marijuana under 50 grams, a Disorderly Persons Offense. Louis Ord was charged with Possession of Marijuana under 50 grams and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, both Disorderly Persons Offenses.

Tyler Ord was charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a Disorderly Persons Offense. Kristen Ord was charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a Disorderly Person Offense Defendants Alden, Carrone, MacCallum, Tyler Ord, Louis Ord and Kristen Ord were released on their own recognizance.
Degree, Possession of CDS (Clonazapam), 3rd Degree, Degree and Possession of 
Degree. Taylor MacCallum was charged with Possession of Somerset County Is An Equal Opportunity Employer Defendant Justin Kaczmarczyk was lodged in the Somerset County Jail with bail set at $75,000 cash or bond by the Honorable Yolanda Ciccone, A.J.S.C.
