'Asbury Fever' Rocks Pleasant Valley Park

Bruce Springsteen tribute band presents cool concert on a hot evening.

It was a beautiful warm Tuesday evening at Pleasant Vally Park when "Asbury Fever" took the stage to ring out the songs of Bruce Springsteen. As the sun set and the temperature and bright sun subsided, the crowd began to come from the wings and to spread over much of the field.

All in all, about 300 concertgoers came out to hear the Bruce Springsteen tribute band, which is the second in the township Department of Parks & Recreation's scheduled Tuesday night concerts at  off Valley Road.

Upcoming concerts, all at 7 p.m. at Pleasant Valley Park, include Jimmy & the Parrots, sponsored by Travel Magic, presenting island party music, on Tuesday, July 19; and Beatlemania Again, on Tuesday, July 26.
